The competition is open to all students from Grade Pre-Level through Grade 10.

The contest will be conveniently administered at each participant’s own school.
Course Outline: Progressive Intelligence Contest
Sprout (Mont, PG, Nursery, KG)
- Objective: Foster curiosity, foundational cognitive skills, and a positive first experience with structured challenges.
- Focus Areas: Pattern recognition, basic sorting/classification, memory games, simple sequences, and sensory puzzles.
Explorer (Grade 1 & 2)
- Objective: Develop logical thinking, early problem-solving strategies, and comfort with friendly competition.
- Focus Areas: Logical sequences, analogies, simple codes (symbol/letter), spatial visualization, and verbal reasoning with basic vocabulary.
Challenger (Grade 3 & 4)
- Objective: Strengthen deductive and inductive reasoning, and introduce structured problem-solving frameworks.
- Focus Areas: Deductive logic puzzles, number patterns, introductory cryptography, verbal logic, and collaborative problem-solving.
Contender (Grade 5 & 6)
- Objective: Enhance critical thinking, synthesize information from multiple domains, and apply ethics to problem-solving.
- Focus Areas: Complex word problems, data interpretation from charts/graphs, ethical dilemmas in STEM, debate on simple topics, and creative design thinking.
Competitor (Grade 7 & 8)
- Objective: Master advanced analytical techniques and engage in rigorous, evidence-based argumentation.
- Focus Areas: Formal logic, argument deconstruction, advanced cryptography, principles of debate, and case study analysis.
Achiever (Grade 9 & 10)
- Objective: Tackle open-ended, real-world problems requiring research, innovation, and interdisciplinary synthesis.
- Focus Areas: Systems thinking, research methodology, speculative futures, strategic planning, and persuasive communication.
