English

Words, Wit & Persuasion

The arena of words, wit, and persuasion. Here, champions are defined by their ability to argue eloquently, analyze deeply, and create powerfully. Master language, own the narrative, and let your voice be heard above the rest.

Welcome to the proving grounds of curiosity. Formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and defend your discoveries. This is where theory meets proof — and where the next breakthrough could have your name on it.

Intelligence & Critical Thinking

Conduct, Procedures & Rules

Everything host institutes and participants need to run a fair, smooth contest.

For the Host Institute

  • The contest is held at the participant's own institute; the Head serves as Chief Examiner.
  • Give invigilators the GCS Guidelines and schedule at least two days before the contest.
  • Appoint invigilators from teaching faculty — one per 25 participants, at least one per room.
  • The Chief Examiner assigns seats; unregistered students may not sit without prior GCS consent.
  • Only registered candidates and authorised supervisors may be in the exam room.
  • Invigilators monitor discreetly; their duty is to prevent copying and unfair practice.
  • No help on content — invigilators may not explain or interpret any word or question.
  • Report suspected cheating to the Chief Examiner at once, without confronting the student.
  • Confiscate unauthorised materials; the candidate continues, and the incident is noted on the attendance sheet and reported after the exam.
  • Papers are couriered to the Head at least three days before; report non-receipt immediately.
  • Store materials under lock and key; envelopes are opened only by the Chief Examiner on contest day.
  • Report any broken or tampered seal at once.
  • Photocopying papers (for shortages) needs permission; copying answer sheets is forbidden.
  • Return all unused materials; mark absentees “ABSENT” and include their sheets in the shipment.
  • The contest begins nationwide at 10:30 AM sharp.
  • Institutes may not alter the schedule without explicit GCS authorisation.
  • In unavoidable circumstances, contact the GCS Program Coordinator immediately.
  • Verify the official attendance sheet; only listed candidates may participate.
  • Prepare the hall: cover teaching aids, space desks one metre apart, provide a wall clock and a start / end-time board.
  • Open envelopes before participants; allow five minutes to fill particulars (no answers yet).
  • Read all printed instructions aloud; announce the official start time and duration.
  • Give audible warnings at five and one minute remaining.
  • On “time up”, all writing stops — no further changes.
  • Collect all sheets before anyone leaves; complete the front page in BLOCK LETTERS.
  • Invigilators sign the attendance sheet; sort answer sheets by level.
  • Seal sheets in the provided envelope and courier the same day; report any delay.
  • GCS may conduct unannounced inspections at any centre.
  • Cooperate fully; ask representatives for valid ID before they enter the hall.
  • Non-compliant arrangements may void the contest and cancel the institute's registration.

Participant Instructions

  • Follow all invigilator instructions promptly.
  • Arrive at least 20 minutes early; those over 30 minutes late may be barred (Chief Examiner's discretion).
  • Bring your own blue or black pens and pencils; instruments must carry no extra writing.
  • No communication with other candidates.
  • Do not leave the hall unescorted, including for the washroom.
  • No unauthorised materials or electronic devices.
  • Stay seated; raise your hand for attention.
  • Do not remove any sheets, papers or supplied materials from the room.
  • Complete registration before 02 October 2026.

We're a competition platform created to help students discover and showcase their talents in subjects like Math, Science, English, Coding, Robotics, and more. Think of us as an arena for the mind, where learning meets challenge, and where champions are made.
Any student with curiosity and courage! Our events are typically designed for grades Pre-Level–12, with categories tailored by age and skill level. Check the specific event details, there's likely a perfect fit for you.
Easy! Just click the "Register Now" button on any competition page. You can sign up as part of a school team (Coordinators, Teachers, Admin, and Accountants). You'll need basic info (name, grade, school), and for team events, a teacher or parent coordinator usually helps.
We offer both! Many of our events are held online so students from anywhere can join. Some larger finals or special competitions may be hosted online. Every event page clearly states the format, so you'll know what to expect.
Some competitions have a small registration fee: 1000 to cover materials, certificates, and others costs.
Fairly and transparently. Every competition is judged by a panel of educators or subject experts based on clear, shared criteria, whether that's test scores, project quality, creativity, or problem solving skills. We take integrity seriously.
First, we get it, it's normal to feel nervous! Encourage them to see it as a learning experience, not just a win-or-lose moment.
Life happens. Contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to help.
Absolutely. Every participant receives a certificate of participation. Winners earn trophies, medals, and cash incentives. But beyond that, they gain real-world skills, feedback, and a boost for their academic portfolio.
Yes, and we love school partnerships! Only teachers and coordinators can reach out to us for bulk registrations. Let's build champions together.
